Feminism & Degrowth

This platform emerges at the intersection of feminist thought, ecological responsibility, and critical approaches to technology and culture. It is founded on the premise that contemporary economic and technological systems—structured around extraction, acceleration, and perpetual growth—are fundamentally misaligned with planetary limits and social justice. Feminism & Degrowth positions itself as a space for rethinking value, agency, and care beyond growth-centric paradigms.

Grounded in feminist political ecology, posthumanist philosophy, and decolonial critique, the project foregrounds relational modes of thinking that recognise interdependence between human, non-human, and technological systems. Rather than framing degrowth as absence or austerity, we approach it as a generative reorientation: toward care, repair, situated knowledge, and collective responsibility.
